Samurai's are cool, but imagine someone training with Bushido and Miyamoto Musashi code then ending up a UFC champion. One of the most ruthless environments permissible in civilized society tested this Samurai, and versus the champion Glover Teixeira, he came up on top. What truly makes him dangerous is the sense of meaning he derives from the Bushido code, from Miyamoto Musashi's samurai code. That's what men need. This seems like play in a way but he takes it all very seriously, it's a grounding framework for his operation of being. That's what today's time is missing and as result, it's no wonder men around the world are despaired and depressed... Life is very hard when you don't have a framework to orient yourself through... But a man who does, a man who's willing to give his life for a sense of meaning... He is a completely different man all together. Watching Jiri take punishment on the highest level of martial arts, watching him grind towards mastery even after hard earned victories... This pursuit of mastery fueled by Japanese philosophy, it's the engine behind his rise to championship status... That's what every man needs to find. A framework that helps orient the individual and gifts them a deep sense of meaning... Without it, life is bleak, chaotic, confusing and dark... With, the being is set a blaze, the cold of the human condition finally feels lights... Because that's what meaning does. It takes great suffering and it makes it all feel worthwhile regardless of how cold and dark it can get... Worthwhile... That's a life armed with a sense of meaning... That's what men today are missing. Jiri Prochazka has it, and it's something we can all take from him as he brandishes his Bushido code. That's what we all need.
